THE SOUND OF WATER
When the elevator doors open, the quiet sound of endless water lapping against smooth tile echoes back at you like a greeting. Much like the crypts that lead to the dorms, the endless tunnels of the Backstage seem entirely flooded with deep, blue water. Walkways fill with water which turn to pools that turn to slides, and stairs lead up and down and through doors without rhyme or reason. It's hard to traverse without getting too soaked, but it's not impossible.
As you travel, you may periodically find that a random door along your path is a set of elevator doors, allowing for easy exit if you've had enough. You may be unlucky, however, and never encounter the elevators again, forcing you to continue through the empty halls.
Those familiar with seals and folklore may recognize the intentionally featureless, criss-crossing composition of this place—of perhaps the entire, inverted tower—as intentional: a labyrinth intended to metaphysically disorient an undesirable entity and keep it trapped in.
Your journey may be long, or really quite short. As you progress, you eventually come across three major forks:

A hallway that splits into three other hallways: one painted pink, one painted blue, and one painted purple

A stairway that splits into three other stairways: one lit with shadows of stars, one lit with shadows of butterflies, and one lit with shadows of hearts

A foyer that splits into three separate rooms: One pattered with zebra stripes, one patterned with rainbow polka dots, one painted a smooth, tileless black
At the very end of the large room is a door that seems comprised of darkness itself. And when you open it, you find Sika Madu— as well as...
